How to Travel With Holiday Food in Tow

One of the biggest parts of the holiday season is cooking the delicious food that we dream about all year long. Often, in order to share that food with family and friends, we have to transport that food, sometimes hundreds of miles at a time, to see our loved ones. That's why Dick Poe Dodge in El Paso's gift to you this holiday season is a few tips about how to safely transport holiday food.

First, it is important that any food in dishes is packed tightly into your vehicle. We recommend using a cooler full of ice to both keep the food cool and keep it in place. If a cooler is not available, nesting the food in a box surrounded by blankets or old newspaper can suffice. There's nothing worse than arriving for the holidays with your dinner all over the trunk.

We here at Dick Poe Dodge in El Paso would like to wish you a happy holidays and hope all of your holiday favorites arrive safely to the dinner table.
