The RAM truck brand is not only dedicated to providing the most durable standard new RAM trucks available on the market. It is also devoted to perfecting its RAM Commercial Division- a complete portfolio of light- and medium-duty work trucks. And apparently, as Fred M. Diaz, President and CEO of the brand states, the organization is set on showing "serious buyers that [it's] dead serious about the truck business."1

Commiting to this fleet doesn't just feature a much bigger product line but, additionally, a devoted commercial staff to supervise marketing and advertising, product planning, engineering, and style. Diaz states that the company can't simply "dabble" in the realm of commercial trucks it should be very motivated and committed.

Although the new selection is mainly made up of RAM pick-ups and chassis cab models, additionally, it includes the Chrysler ProMaster, which marks the Group's return to the fully-sized van market, which the organization left in '09 using the Daimler-built Sprinter van.

The brand new van draws on several assets of Fiat, Chrysler's new owner. It's in line with the third-generation Fiat Ducato, however, it's been modified for the United States market and fitted by having an optional 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine.

Overall, the brand new RAM division wishes to address the niche for more compact trucks available in the commercial automotive market.
