American car maker Chrysler is certainly a huge fan of high power, as proven through its SRT8 variants of many of their most widely used automobiles, such as the Dodge Challenger and Chrysler 300. SRT8 versions of those automobiles, together with a Dodge Charger Super Bee model were lately displayed at the Chicago Auto Show.
Rob Gilles, head of the SRT Brand and Motorsports for Chrysler, describes the appeal behind the brand new models, stating, "With exclusive content, including the standard premium 'Ballistic' cloth interior from the new SRT Viper, SRT-tuned sport suspensions and distinctive exterior accents, the new Challenger SRT8 and 300 SRT8 'Core' models are designed and built with the back-to-basics performance driving enthusiast in mind."1The brand new SRT8 models are available for purchase this summer underneath the brand's Street and Racing Technology moniker and include a number of new colors. A new SRT8 form of the Dodge Viper will even join the selection.
So far as specifics go, here's a good example of among the new models: The 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is-black, having a effective 6.4-liter Hemi 392 V8 engine that creates 470 horsepower under its hood.
