Since the Dodge Dart was introduced last summer, it has been a big hit at Dick Poe Dodge. Lately we've heard snippets of speculation regarding future incarnations of the vehicle and we're going to share them with you. Currently only available as a sedan in the United States, the rumor is that different bodystyle variations could be available in the future.
The Chrysler umbrella not only includes Dodge and RAM, but FIAT as well. The Dodge Dart uses the same platform as the FIAT Viaggio, a compact vehicle that also comes in a sedan. Hatchback and wagon versions are in the works for China, so the guess is that will translate to the United States market as well.
At Dick Poe Dodge, we love the idea of different variants and think it makes a lot of sense. Drivers like options and while the 2013 Dart gives them plenty, having models that meet the needs of a variety of drivers is always a good thing. Maneuverability of a hatchback and extra storage from a wagon would be welcome additions to the market.
