It's the time of year when people spend more time and money keeping the exterior of their cars clean and shiny. It feels good to roll around in warm weather in a clean car. But don't neglect the inside! Here are some tips for keeping the inside of your car just as pristine as the outside:
- Wipe down surfaces like the dashboard and console. You could buy some automotive wipes or use baby wipes if you have some handy. This will remove built-up dirt and dust.
- Get rid of those nasty crumbs, grass and mud by vacuuming the carpets. This is pretty easy and inexpensive. You can use the vacuum at the car wash or your own handheld version.
- Those pesky cup holders that hold all the icky messes from weeks past need to be cleaned as well. The easiest way to do this is to wet a q-tip and scrub. To get in the hard-to-reach cracks use a toothpick to scrap all the goo out.
